We congratulate Dr. Ilirijana Bajraktari for being appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health in the Government of Albania.

Dr. Bajraktari is a Board Member at Action for Mothers and Children since 2013. She is quite passionate about the strategies and concepts for improving health sector particularly for the benefits of mothers and children for achieving sustainable development of the societies.

Dr. Ilirjana Bajraktari is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Tuck School of Business in USA and also holds a MD/PhD degree from the Medical University of Graz in Austria. She worked for several years with  the  World Health Organization in the field of health systems and policy in limited resource settings.For more she was engaged with a range of organizations such as UNICEF, AIHA, and World Bank for promoting health, quality of care and health as a human right activity.
We are very pleased to have our esteemed member being appointed as the Deputy Minister of Health in Albania and congratulate her.
