Vlorian Molliqaj
Vlorian works as an Executive Director of Action for Mother and Children. He holds a Master Degree in Public Health Science with Health Economics from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Prior to joining AMC, he worked for three years with sickness benefits at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in Gothenburg and at the Swedish National Institute for Institutional Care. Vlorian strives to implement projects and programs that improve the health system in Kosovo, specifically save lives and improve the health of mothers and children. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing table tennis and watching movies.

Vesa Kada
Vesa joined the foundation Action for Mothers and Children as a fundraising and events manager from January 2020. Vesa has completed her studies at the American University of Kosovo in Business and Management, afterwards following with Master studies at the European Center for Peace and Development in business administration. Vesa has more than 10 years of experience mostly in administration and sales in the private sector in the field of telecommunications infrastructure and energy, and in recent years in the pharmaceutical market.

Albiona Beselica Beha
Albiona has completed a master’s degree in health management, after graduating from the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Prishtina. Albiona has joined the Action at the end of 2014 after her work in teaching at the Medical High School “Dr. Ali Sokoli ”, in Prishtina. Albiona is the trainer and leader of the Women’s Health Resource Center project. She is once a facilitator of the Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting program and the author of the book “Mother’s Diary – a guide for parents’ steps”.

Laberie Çarreti Sylejmani
Laberie studied Psychology in University of Prishtina and worked with children and parents in WHO project and Rehabilitation Centre for Tortured Victims. Laberie joined AMC team in 2017. Laberie is project coordinator of Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting and facilitator of PDEP program too. She is engaged in Woman Health Resource Center “WHRC” within AMC and she is trainer of Post- Partum Depression in Mothers Classes. Working with children made her realize how amazing and exciting the world can be.

Okarina Gorani
Okarina joined AMC team in June 2021. She studied Psychology in the University of Prishtina and also she has finished her master studies in the Learning Sciences programme at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Throughout her academic quest and prior work experiences, Okarina has shown her keenness to conduct research by being part of several research projects in the fields of clinical psychology, psycholinguistics and developmental psychology.

Hana Buçinca
Hana joined the foundation Action for Mothers and Children as Program Officer in November 2018. She designs, implements and supervises projects in the public health domain that concern mothers and children wellbeing. Hana earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Pharmacy from Hacettepe University. Her skills in leadership, project management, scientific research and data analysis correspond to the experience she gained during her previous work in companies/institutions such as Excellentia Pharms in Prishtina, Kosovo Medicinal Agency (AKPPM), Molecular Pharmacology department at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-New York, Market Access department at Novartis-Istanbul, Oncology department at Hacettepe University Hospitals-Ankara and Nanotechnology in Pharmaceutical Technology department at Hacettepe University-Ankara.

Elvanda Gojani
Elvanda joined AMC as K10 Coalition Coordinator in March 2018. As Coalition Coordinator she leads, represents externally and guides the strategic communication of K10 prominent Kosovo based NGOs working on gender, sexual and reproductive health. She also leads advocacy actions for more equitable gender policies with relevant stakeholders. She has an extensive working experience in areas related to economy, finance, interfaith dialogue and recruitment at various enterprises in the private sector, NGOs and international organizations. Elvanda holds a master degree in European Economy, Finance and Institutions from the Tor Vergata University in Rome. In her spare time Elvanda does hiking and she enjoys exploring the nature.

Rudina Xhokli
Rudina joined the foundation Action for Mothers and Children as a Project Coordinator in October 2022. She studied Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy- at the University of Prishtina. Rudina is an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working with civic & social organizations since 2015. She is proficient in gender studies, English, writing/posting content, and procurement, with a strong program and project management expertise.

Hana Kurti
Hana joined the foundation Action for Mothers and Children as PR & Event Officer in October 2021. She studied Marketing at the University of Prishtina and continued her master studies in Marketing and Social Media at City College, University of Sheffield in Thessaloniki, Greece. Hana has extensive work experience working with various marketing agencies, companies and organizations such as a Social Media Manager, PR & Communication and Event Marketing Coordinator.

Anita Vllahiu
Anita joined the foundation Action for Mothers and Children as a Fundraising and Outreach Officer in March 2023. Prior to joining AMC, Anita worked with a number of nonprofit organizations and social enterprises, gaining valuable experience in the areas of community engagement, event planning, and donor relations. With a degree in International Territorial Studies, she brings valuable skills and expertise to her role. Anita is dedicated to social issues and helping the organization achieve its mission of improving maternal and child health outcomes in underserved communities.

Ariana Hoxha Selmani
Ariana joined AMC team in May 2021. After finishing her bachelor and master’s studies in Management & Informatics at University of Prishtina she continued trainings for accounting in SKAAK and ASS Partners to become a more professional accountant technician.

Merita Islami Sopi
Merita works as sales assistant for Teshavesha. She completed secondary school in commerce and tourism. She has around 13 years of experience in the sales department. She is sociable, an outgoing and well-presented shop assistant with a suitable work experience in retail sector. Her attention to details and her friendly approach has encouraged a positive relationship with all the costumers of Teshavesha. She is very motivated and very driven to achieve Teshavesha’s goals and customer satisfaction
