Over 37 thousand euros were collected in the 6th edition of the philanthropic event Save a Life!

The 6th edition of the Save a Life philanthropic event was held on May 24 in Zurich, Switzerland. Organized by AMC, the event gathered prominent figures from business, health, and art, highlighting the Kosovar diaspora’s commitment to improving maternal and child health in Kosovo.

The evening began with a welcoming party featuring classical-spiritual music by the “Trio Frymorë” group. The formal program included speeches from key contributors to AMC’s mission. Executive Director Rina Demiri Spahija highlighted the organization’s achievements and the importance of corporate social responsibility, thanking contributing companies. Kosovo’s new ambassador to Switzerland, Mentor Latifi, praised AMC’s efforts in enhancing health programs. Special guest Elia Zaharia, philanthropist and actress, underscored the ongoing need for support in the health sector.

For the first time in Switzerland, the “Champion for Mothers and Children” award was presented to Dr. Agron Abrashi and Mr. Sevdail Tahiri for their significant contributions to the cause. The evening also featured performances by singer Denik Prizreni, Ardit Stafaj, and Artan Rexhepi, along with opportunities for networking and supporting the cause.
