In a moving celebration of young talent and child well-being, Action for Mothers and Children (AMC) joined Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina for the first time as a collaborating partner during the festival’s Young Laureates Evening on June 3.
The concert showcased exceptional young musicians whose performances reflected the promise of Kosovo’s next generation, while also delivering a powerful reminder that every child needs care and support to fully realize their potential.
Under the message “Healthy children can become tomorrow’s laureates,” AMC highlighted its ongoing work to improve maternal and child health across Kosovo through the delivery of vital medical aid, support for healthcare professionals, guidance for families during pregnancy and early childhood, and advocacy for quality healthcare for all.
Speaking at the event, AMC Executive Director Rina Demiri Spahija reflected on the connection between health and opportunity. “Every child is born with talent and potential, but to become musicians or fulfill any other dream, they need the chance to grow up healthy, safe and supported.”
The first-time collaboration between AMC and Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina brought together art and social impact in a shared call to invest in children, families and the future of Kosovo.
The evening concluded with strong applause for the young performers and a renewed message that supporting children’s health today helps create tomorrow’s artists, leaders and laureates.
