Action for Mothers and Children (AMC) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Teshavesha, which has been turning donations into support for women and children since 2016.
With two stores in Prishtina, Teshavesha collects thousands of kilograms of donated clothing, shoes, accessories and household items each year, helping reduce textile waste while generating sustainable funding for AMC’s maternal and child health programs across Kosovo.
“Over the past ten years, Teshavesha has proven that every donation and every purchase can make a real difference,” said AMC Executive Director Rina Demiri Spahija. “We are grateful to our donors, customers, volunteers and partners for helping us build a more sustainable future while supporting families throughout Kosovo.”
Beginning today, Teshavesha 2 will temporarily close for the summer. Donations will continue to be accepted at the shop next door from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Teshavesha 1 will remain open with extended summer hours: Monday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with pauza/lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. (closed Sundays).
Every donated item and every purchase helps create a healthier future for families. As Teshavesha enters its second decade, AMC invites the community to keep giving clothes a second life while supporting others.
