20 July 2018, Dragash

We are so pleased to opend the doors of the Women’s Health Resource Center “Mother’s Classes” in Dragash, at the Main Family Medicine Center, in an official ceremony today. This initiative is made possible thanks to the cooperation of the Department of Health and Social Welfare in Dragash, the Main Family Medicine Center (MFMC) in Dragash, Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo and Action for Mothers and Children.

“The establishment of the resource center in Dragash marks the 9th center that incorporates the educational services as part of the daily healthcare services for mothers and children at the primary level. The “Mothers’ Classes” center in Dragash will provide free educational services, physical and psychological support to women and their partners, as well as counseling sessions on childcare, post-natal depression, breastfeeding, baby nutrition, immunization, and more” said Albiona Beselica Beha, the representative of Action for Mothers and Children.

“Raiffeisen Bank has always been attentive to health sector and is committed to supporting this very specific field. We are very pleased to be able to give access to an educational center like the one we opened today to all the new mothers in our community. Raiffeisen Bank will remain committed to helping the healthcare sector in the country,” said Robert Wright, the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo.

The health resource center in Dragash is opened every day and available to all the women in Dragash, as well as their partners. The schedule of the sessions will be published on monthly basis in the MFMC in Dragash, in Action for Mothers and Children’s official website, and throughout social media platforms.
