Teshavesha launches a new service: sewing and repairing clothes

Teshavesha store in Zahir Pajaziti Square, from now on, offers a new service which was quite demanded by our customers: sewing and repairing used clothes. This service was possible thanks to the support of Raiffiesen Bank, therefore, we managed to supply the store with the necessary equipment and materials as well as recruited and trained a worker to start with this service.

Teshavesha stores are visited by over 200 people every day who come to donate or buy clothes. All the revenues from Teshavesha are invested in AMC programs which aim to improve the health of mothers and children. In addition to charity, Teshavesha also contributes to the employment of women.

It is worth mentioning that this is just one of the many projects that Raiffeisen Bank has supported AMC financially. With Raiffeisen Bank funds we opened up two more Women’s Health Resource Centers in different municipalities, while increasing the number of these centers in 13. Over 300 children a year and over 4,000 mothers benefit from these centers which provide educational services, physical and psychological well-being activities, information towards prenatal and postnatal care, information on postpartum depression, breastfeeding, neonatal care, baby nutrition, and immunity.

In addition, thanks to Raiffeisen Bank, devices of Ehosonograph and Bilirubinometry were donated to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. These devices are used to provide a new service for children at the Neonatology Clinic in Prishtina – the echosonograph makes it possible to diagnose many diseases in infants.

Furthermore, last year, when our country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Raiffeisen Bank in cooperation with AMC donated an amount of 18,591.01 euros to UCCK, to make the delivery room functional for pregnant ladies who were infected with COVID- 19.

We are extremely grateful to Raiffeisen Bank for all the continuous contribution to our mission and we hope that Raiffeisen Bank will serve as an example for other large corporations in our country.
