#runnerforhearts campaign raises Eur 1,500 in one week

Prishtina, 10 May 2015-

The fundraising campaign #runnerforhearts raised Eur 1,561.88 in one week through the running team AMCHEALTH.ORG. This team participated in Prishtina Half-Marathon on May 10, 2015 in 5km or 21km events.

“This is a big success to raise all this money in one week and have this team of runners participate in the international marathon” – states Mrika Aliu, the Executive Director of Acton for Mothers and Children. “As a project organized for the first time, AMC is very happy with the results achieved and the way it was welcome by contributors and members of team amchealth.org, as well as all the partners who initiated and coordinated the whole campaign – Bllok.org, Trembelat  and Intersport Kosova,” – adds Aliu.

This will become an annual event for upcoming years and Action for Mothers and Children announces that such interesting fundraising initiatives will come up in the future to support Action’s mission to save the lives of children and mothers in the Republic of Kosovo. The money raised will support Gynecology, Neonatology and Pediatric units in Kosovo.

Initiators of the “Runner for Hearts” event are studio Bllok.org, Trembelat, and is supported strongly by InterSport Kosova.
