Medical supplies are donated to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo

24 April, 2018, Prishtina

Today medical supplies were donated at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo which will be used to meet the needs of mothers and children. This donation has been made possible through the successful and continuous cooperation between Action for Mothers and Children and the International Organization Direct Relief. The value of this contingent that arrived today was about 330,000 dollars.
“We, as an organization, are committed to provide our help in saving the lives of our mothers and children and always focus on solving the problems addressed by these three clinics. The need for medication is permanent at all levels of health care and we believe that sustainable cooperation with international organizations dedicated to meeting the medical needs of the population in developing countries is more important, “said Dorina Grezda from Action for Mothers and Children

Direct Relief is a non-profit organization in USA, and works to support activities of its partners, providing essential materials and medical equipment to developing countries. The arrival of this life-saving medicament in Kosovo has been made possible by the charity events held in 2017 as ‘Let’s Dance’ in Prishtina, ‘Meet Us Halfway’ in New York, USA and the ‘Diaspora Dinner’ in Switzerland.
