Medical equipment delivered to Neonatology and Pediatrics Clinic at Mitrovica Hospital

Action for Mothers and Children together with Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo, which has been supporting our organization’s mission for several years, delivered the Hematology Analyzer and some other medical equipment to the Neonatology and Pediatrics Clinic at Mitrovica Hospital, today. This new clinic, which is soon expected to begin work, needed to be supplemented with the equipment mentioned above, and this identification of needs was done in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.

Thanks to this cooperation and this donation, Mitrovica Hospital will be able to provide quality services to all newborns in this hospital ” said Vlorian Molliqaj from Action for Mothers and Children.

Since health is a more specific field, this collaboration with Action for Mothers and Children, whom we’ve made this donation through, has helped us majorly. We are very pleased that this equipment will facilitate the work of the medical staff at the Pediatric Clinic in Mitrovica, ” said Vlora Kasumi, Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo representative.

AMC’s mission is to assist Neonatology, Pediatrics and Gynecology Clinics with various medications and medical devices to reduce infant mortality. This year the organization has focused on Mitrovica Hospital due to the many needs this hospital has. Recently, beds for newborn babies funded by the Cycle Kosovo for Children event have also been delivered, whereas today medical equipment being delivered to these two clinics today reaches € 10,000.
