On Women’s Day we launched Mother Classes the 16th location, and Group Care during 1000 days in Pristina.

Today on Women’s Day, we officially launched two programs “Classes for Mothers” and “Group Care” at the Main Family Medicine Center in Pristina – Women’s Welfare Center.
“Klasat për Nëna” / “Mother Classes”  is an initiative of the Action for Mothers and Children foundation as part of the educational programs for maternal and child health in Kosovo. The opening of the “Mother Classes” center in cooperation with the Municipality of Pristina – the Directorate of Health also marks the 16th point of the location of this program.
To date, over 10,000 women have benefited from the support of these classes. We are committed to expanding these centers throughout the territory of Kosovo.
On the same day we also launched officialy the begining of the program “Group Care”. Group Care during 1000 days, is a collaborative approach to prenatal care that involves women coming together in small groups to receive health care services, education and support. This project is realized thanks to the support of the EBRD Community Initiative and Horizon2020 and the good cooperation with the Municipality of Pristina, namely the Directorate of Health.
