October 10 marks the fifth year of the humanitarian event ‘Meet Us Halfway’ in New York

Action for Mothers and Children returns again to New York City with a philanthropic evening to save the lives of mothers and children in Kosovo. This humanitarian evening will be held at the prestigious Yale Club of New York City on October 10th, 2019 from 19:30 to 22:00.
As always this evening will include Music, Networking, Cocktails and a Silent Auction while the keynote speaker will be the worldwide known sopranoĀ Inva MulaĀ in the capacity of the Ambassador for the good health of mothers and children. This evening is made possible by friends and board members of the foundation living and operating in America such asĀ Valon Xharra, Drin and Rialda Kukaj, Fadil Berisha, Elizabeth PerajĀ andĀ Tess Kukaj.
All the funds raised this year will benefit Action for Mothers and Children in support of it’s health programs specifically in: medical suppliesĀ to saveĀ 300 babiesĀ in 2020, provide prenatal vitamins, amoxicillin and spirals forĀ 700 women,Ā educateĀ 1,338 parentsĀ about family planning, early pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period and to helpĀ 3,600 womenĀ diagnose cervical cancer through free pap-smear testing in 2020.
