Contraceptives donated for the Main Family Medicine Center in Prishtina

Today at the Main Family Medicine Center in Prishtina, a donation of contraceptives were delivered in the amount of $15,715.92, a donation that is made possible thanks to the ongoing and successful cooperation between the organization Action for Mothers for Children and the international organization Americares.

These contraceptives will help women in family planning, regulation of menstrual cycle and pain relief during the menstrual cycle, and also prevent ovarian and breast cyst and infections in the ovaries and uterus.

“Americares continues to support the work of Action for Mothers and Children by covering the needs of the hospitals with medications and addressing the specific needs of the Main Family Medicine Center. We are happy that our cooperation with Americares is stable and continues to meet the needs of the health institutions” said Dorina Grezda from Action for Mothers and Children.

The arrival of this donation in Kosovo has been made possible by charity events such as Let’s Dance in Pristina, the Meet Us Halfway event in New York, USA, and the ‘Save the Life’ event in Switzerland.
