Amoxicillin medication delivered to the Main Family Medicine Center in Prizren

Today in the Main Family Medicine Center in Prizren,  Amoxicillin medicament was delivered, a donation made possible through the successful and continuous partnership between Action for Mothers and Children and the international organization AmeriCares. Today, in Prizren, an amount of 4,588 boxes were delivered, amount that will cover the needs of the Family Medicine Center until 2020.

Amoxicillin is a type of antibiotic that is used to treat a large number of bacterial infections. This capsular drug can be used for various infections such as throat infections, pneumonia, skin infections, urinary tract infections and many other types of infections.

“The partnership with the international organization ‘Americares’ is continuing to cover the needs of the Main Family Medicine Centers in Kosovo. We are happy that we are starting 2019 in the right way, by supplying the Center in Prizren with medications that will help improve the health services in Kosova “said Ariana Radoniqi, from Action for Mothers and Children.

The arrival of Amoxicillin in Kosovo has been made possible by the charity events held in 2018 as Let’s Dance in Prishtina, Meet Us Halfway in New York and the ‘Diaspora Dinner’ in Switzerland.
