A memorandum of cooperation signed with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kosovo

Prishtina, 7 March 2016-

Action for Mothers and Children and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kosovo sign a memorandum of cooperation to support our Women’s Health Resource Centers around Kosovo. This cooperation in particular makes it possible to build capacities of nurses and midwifes of the medicine centers where our Women’s Health Resource Centers operate so that the indicators of patient-provider communication are improved, as well as the counseling on antenatal and postnatal care.

The Women’s Health Resource Centers are now operating in three locations (with an additional two being set up) with the primary goal to improve the health outcomes of women and their children by empowering patients and practitioners towards quality improvement and shared decision-making; two concepts proven to have reduced maternal and child mortality rates around the world.
