AMC and Cycle Kosovo donates beds for babies at the Neonatology Clinic in Mitrovica

Today, Action for Mothers and Children together with the organizers of Cycle Kosovo for Children delivered 15 beds for babies to the Neonatology Clinic in Mitrovica.

The beds were provided by funds raised by Cycle Kosovo for Children which is an annual charity event organized by local cyclists to raise funds for the humanitarian foundation Action for Mothers and Children. This year Cycle Kosovo for Children ended successfully for the sixth year in a row, with around 30 cyclists were taking part in the 4-day tour and raised around € 10,000 through company and individual contributions, and online campaigns.

“One of our goals as AMC is to reduce infant mortality, so we are very happy that this donation at Mitrovica Hospital will have an impact on improving hospital services, thereby fulfilling the mission of our organization. I thank cyclists from Cycle Kosovo for Children for the initiative and support of our organization for six years now. Similar support with medical equipment will continue for the Mitrovica Hospital, but also for other hospitals where needs are identified ”said Vlorian Molliqaj from Action for Mothers and Children.
