33 thousand euros were raised at the Let’s Dance charity event for mothers and children

After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 6th edition of the charity event Let’s Dance returned with a lot of energy to help mothers and children in the country. This time the event was held at Klan Arena, attended by approximately 400 supporters of AMC’s mission to improve maternal and child health. The funds collected from sponsorships and ticket sales amount to 33,000 euros.

Every year, the purpose of this event is to raise funds which will then be allocated through the Action for Mothers and Children Foundation to support various health programs to provide medicines and medical equipment for public health institutions in the country.

The executive director Mr. Vlorian Molliqaj expressed his gratitude and thanked all the companies that sponsored this event, including volunteers, supporters, partners and all those present.

Mr. Molliqaj spoke about the role of philanthropy to achieve radical changes in the country, emphasizing that strengthening the health system should be a priority for all of us since only with a strong and developed health system will we be able to offer services quality health for each citizen and also to create better conditions for health workers who are leaving health institutions more and more every day. He also presented to the audience the main achievements of AMC over the past years, highlighting thousands of babies’ lives saved thanks to medical equipment and medicines donated by AMC to health institutions in Kosovo.
