20,859 EUROS WERE DONATED TO MOTHERS AND CHILDREN IN THE PHILANTHROPIC EVENT “SAVE A LIFE” IN ZURICH

On May 5th of this year, AMC organized the philanthropic event “Save a Life,” , which had the primary objective of gathering funds to enhance the well-being of mothers and children in Kosovo by providing essential medical supplies and equipment at hospitals. As in the previous years, the event brought together the Albanian and foreign community, along with various Albanian businesses operating in Switzerland. Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to listen to speeches and enjoy live music performances by the Kosovar band “String String.” The event fostered networking opportunities and encouraged active participation in philanthropy to support a crucial cause.
During the event, Mr. Vlorian Molliqaj, the Executive Director of AMC, expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their unwavering support and emphasized the significant role of the diaspora in facilitating transformative changes through philanthropic endeavors, particularly in the healthcare sector of the country. Mr. Molliqaj highlighted the indispensable support of the diaspora, which has enabled AMC to achieve remarkable milestones over the past decade. He further stressed the organization’s commitment to intensify their efforts in order to provide every child and mother in Kosovo, regardless of their circumstances, with access to quality healthcare services.
Mr. Philip Sigwart, one of the founders of AMC, was also present at the event and delivered a speech shedding light on the organization’s beginnings, challenges faced, and notable successes achieved.
The fifth edition of the philanthropic event “Save a Life” in Zurich was a huge success thanks to the generosity of its sponsors.
