Humanitarian dinner in Zurich for children of Kosovo

The humanitarian foundation “ Action for Mothers and Children” operating in Prishtina, in cooperation with the organization Solidar Suisse, is organizing the humanitarian dinner at Eni’s Restaurant in Zurich, Switzerland, on 29 September 2017.

The purpose of this humanitarian dinner is to raise funds that are needed to reduce the infant mortality rate in the country. Ever since the war, the mortality rate was 29 babies per 1,000 births and we have managed to reduce it to 11 deaths per 1,000 births – a figure that still remains high not only in the region but also in Europe.

In order to reduce the mortality rate, the Foundation develops health programs which are: the supply of the Neonatology and Gynecology Clinic in UCCK with essential medicaments and necessary medical equipment, also the opening of ‘Mother’s Classes’, the development of neonatal transport and many other programs.

Therefore, the reason for organizing this charitable dinner is to raise funds in order to support these programs. The event will include music, speeches by Albanian and Swiss personalities as well as other evening activities. The event is open to the public through purchasing the ticket of the amount 100 CHF per person. Businessmen and philanthropists are invited to support the evening as sponsors.
