The program “Lamtumirë Kopshti im” was organized for Children’s Day

Action for Mothers and Children in partnership with Save the Children in Kosovo and the preschool institutions”Yllkat” and “Fatosat” organized the program “Lamtumirë kopshti ime” (Goodbye kindergarden) , which was held on May 29th. As part of the program was also the art exhibition “E ardhmja ime” which was organized with pieces of art from  the 5-6 year old children from both kindergartens.

This partnership is based on the program “Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting” which is implemented in “Yllkat” and “Fatosat” preschool institutions which aims  raising parents’ awareness of healthy growth of children. This program has been developed in response to recommendations of the United Nations World Report on Violence against Children, which seek to eliminate physical punishment and other degrading punishments of children, and seek parental support to learn non-violent access to raising children.

“We are very happy that on the 1st of June , Children’s Day we had the chance to organize this program with our partners, a program which ended with great success. The purpose of this program and exhibition is to show the importance of focusing on the future of our children by providing the right support along the way to achieving long-term goals.
