Dr. Geroge A. Little is presented The Virginia Apgar Award

We congratulate Dr. George A. Little on being presented with The Virginia Apgar Award at #NCE2016! This award is the highest recognition in neonatal perinatal medicine and is given to individuals whose career has had a continuing influence on the well-being of newborn infants.

Dr. Little. Board Member at Action for Mothers and Children, has dedicated his time and expertise to ensure that all newborns, everywhere, have access to high quality healthcare they deserve and need to survive and grow healthy!

Dr. Little is emeritus professor of pediatrics and emeritus professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Children’s Hospital. A neonatology pioneer who set up one of the first neonatal intensive care units, he co-founded the Vermont/New Hampshire Regional Perinatal Program. – AAP News.
