CKC and AMC Donate Equipment to Support Child Healthcare in MFMC Istog
11.03.2025
A vital donation of essential medical equipment for the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of children has been delivered to the Main Family Medicine Center (MFMC) in Istog.
This valuable  contribution is the result of a partnership between Cycle Kosovo for Children (CKC) and Action for Mothers and Children (AMC), with the shared goal of improving healthcare conditions for children. The donated equipment will play a key role in ensuring timely and quality medical care for young patients in Istog and the surrounding region.
The donation includes: a pediatric monitor, infrared vein finder for children, electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, CRP finger analyzer, pediatric pulse oximeter, and other essential medical tools.
For over ten years, Cycle Kosovo for Children has supported healthcare institutions across Kosovo, including the Neonatology and Pediatrics Clinics in Prishtina, as well as regional hospitals in Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Prizren, and Ferizaj. This long-term commitment has made a direct impact on improving the health and wellbeing of children in Kosovo.
This most recent donation has been made possible thanks to the continuous support from funds raised through CKC’s annual cycling tour. The sponsors and donors of this event have played a crucial role in securing the necessary equipment to treat children in need, supporting Kosovo’s healthcare system in its noble mission.
The donated medical equipment is essential for enhancing healthcare conditions and ensuring the provision of quality medical services for children at this health center.
AMC and CKC extend their deepest gratitude to the healthcare staff at the MFMC in Istog and to the Mayor of the Municipality of Istog for their warm welcome and acceptance of this donation.
