We help mothers have healthy pregnancies and save children's lives.

Home Visiting Programme

Through home visits by nurses and midwives, this program supports pregnant women, new parents and children aged 0–3. It seeks to improve access to primary health care services for pregnant women, children under the age of three and their parents, especially for the most vulnerable households. The home visiting package includes a standard number of visits: two visits for women during pregnancy; five visits for children from 0-3, with additional visits provided based on specific family needs. The program is implemented in all municipalities.
Led by the Ministry of Health, the program is supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with AMC, with funding from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
