Through home visits by nurses and midwives, this program supports pregnant women, new parents and children aged 0–3. It seeks to improve access to primary health care services for pregnant women, children under the age of three and their parents, especially for the most vulnerable households. The home visiting package includes a standard number of visits: two visits for women during pregnancy; five visits for children from 0-3, with additional visits provided based on specific family needs. The Ministry of Health continues to implement Home Visiting as an integrated public service program. For more information, contact your nearest Main Family Medicine Center.
