The charity shop Teshavesha re-opens in a permanent location and brings the Designers Week starting today. The store is now permanently located in Nazim Gafurri street, on the way to Germia park, where Lalloshi Couture used to be.
After two months of successful pilot operation during the summer, we are moving into a bigger and permanent location and bringing new collections. The encouraging support from our community members who kept donating and buying at our store, made us move into this bigger space and bring interesting activities for our clients, says Janine Mehmeti, fundraising and event coordinator at Action for Mothers and Children.
Supported by well known fashion designers as Besë, Drenusha Xharra, Yllka Brada and Menakon, Teshavesha is hosting the Designers Week upon re-opening. During this week our designer friends have donated their collections to be sold at symbolic prices in our store. Such an idea, developed by Arta Istrefi and Linda Baleta from Empower Private Sector, will continuously support our store increase sales.
The charity shop Teshavesha is open every day from 10.00-18.00 and from 12.00-16.00 on Saturdays where citizens can visit and bring donations, buy our collections and participate in our Designers Week.
The second hand charity shop Teshavesha has been opened in July this year from Action for Mothers and Children. In this charity shop, our community members have the opportunity to donate clothes for men, women and children, toys, small home decorations, and accessories which will be sold at symbolic prices and generate revenue that will support Action for Mothers and Childrens programs. The store at the same time employs marginalized women.
