{"id":8251,"date":"2026-02-06T13:27:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T13:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amc.bleart.dev\/?post_type=program&#038;p=8251"},"modified":"2026-02-12T14:20:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T14:20:19","slug":"neonatal-referral-system-nrs","status":"publish","type":"program","link":"https:\/\/amchealth.org\/sq\/program\/neonatal-referral-system-nrs\/","title":{"rendered":"Neonatal Referral System (NRS)\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2016, Action for Mothers and Children (AMC) has led the effort to establish a Neonatal Referral System (NRS) in Kosovo to help reduce the country\u2019s high infant mortality rate by providing safe transportation for critically ill newborns in a specialized ambulance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>We worked with Dartmouth Medical School and the Fulbright Specialist Program to train medical staff and assess hospital readiness to implement the system.
