{"id":8248,"date":"2026-02-09T13:14:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T13:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amc.bleart.dev\/?post_type=program&#038;p=8248"},"modified":"2026-02-12T14:17:32","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T14:17:32","slug":"pediatric-diabetes","status":"publish","type":"program","link":"https:\/\/amchealth.org\/sq\/program\/pediatric-diabetes\/","title":{"rendered":"Pediatric Diabetes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>AMC is committed to raising awareness about pediatric diabetes and advocating for the inclusion of insulin pumps on the List of Essential Medications.\u00a0In 2024, AMC partnered with the Rugove Corporation to launch the &#8220;Diabetes Doesn&#8217;t Stop Dreams&#8221; campaign, distributing 1 million water bottles labeled with this powerful slogan to highlight that diabetes should not limit a child\u2019s potential. With one cent from each bottle dedicated to supporting children with diabetes, we raised \u20ac10,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign featured a video starring Jara Hasolli, a young gymnast living with type 1 diabetes. It showcased her resilience and her determination to one day compete in the Olympic Games, reinforcing the message that diabetes doesn\u2019t stop dreams. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1175688096849388\">See the video here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This and other fundraising efforts allowed us to provide insulin pumps and supplies to 10 children living with type 1 diabetes.
