Meet Us Halfway Gala 8th edition: Inspiring Night of Support for Mothers’ and Children’s Health in Kosovo

On Friday, October 18th, the 8th edition of the *Meet Us Halfway* gala brought together successful individuals from the fields of medicine, business, and other supporters to stand behind the mission of Action for Mothers and Children (AMC). ✨

Executive Director Rina Demiri Spahija highlighted AMC’s essential role in strengthening the health system and the importance of collective efforts for a healthier future. Keynote speaker Emina Cunmulaj emphasized the need for essential medications and continuous training for healthcare professionals, expressing her support for AMC’s mission. Special guests, including former congressman Joseph DioGuardi, Dr. Donald Kollisch, and Dr. Agron Abrashi, shared their experiences working to improve the healthcare system in Kosovo. Additionally, the founder of F’oda Summit, Ms. Djellza Pulatani, spoke about her collaboration with AMC in organizing conferences on reproductive rights and sexual health for women in Kosovo.

This night expressed dedication and solidarity as attendees united to support a healthier future for mothers and children. We were also honored to have present the Ambassador and Head of Mission at the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in New York, Mr. Blerim Reka, and the Mayor of Fairview NJ Township, Ms. Violeta Berisha.
